Terms of use
The terms on which Clayproof is used. Last revised 5 October 2026.
What this service is
Clayproof is a product of ArcGabriel Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Carlile Institute Business Centre, 54 Huddersfield Road, Meltham, Holmfirth HD9 4AE). It is a concept studio for vehicle exteriors: from a datum of hard points and a direction in words it draws concept views, makes a 3D form, measures that form against the datum, writes notes and a colour, material and finish brief, and packs them. Accounts are free; the free plan's allowance is on /pricing. There are no paid plans. If paid plans are introduced, nobody is moved to one without choosing it.
What it is not
Clayproof is not engineering advice, and nothing it produces is a production surface, a safety assessment, a regulatory opinion or a statement that a design can be built, approved or sold. The measurements are taken from an AI-made surface scaled to your datum; the notes against the datum are a designer's reading with the words pass, note and look again. You remain responsible for every decision you take with the output, and for having it checked by qualified people before anything is built.
What you put in
You warrant that the datums, directions, notes and references you enter are yours to use, that they do not describe or name another person's or company's protected design, mark or model, and that they contain no personal data about anyone else. Clayproof removes maker and model names from a direction before drawing and refuses a direction that names them; this is a safeguard, not a substitute for your warranty.
What you get, and whose it is
To the extent ArcGabriel Ltd holds any right in the outputs of a generation you ran (the views, the form, the measurements, the notes, the brief and the package), it assigns that right to you, or to your organisation where you ran it on its behalf, on the generation's completion, and will do what is reasonably asked to confirm the assignment. The outputs are made by AI models and are marked as such in every file; whether, and where, a right exists in them is a matter of law that ArcGabriel Ltd does not warrant. ArcGabriel Ltd keeps the right to use the outputs only as needed to provide the service to you.
If someone says a design is theirs
A rights holder who believes a design made here copies theirs can report it at /takedown. ArcGabriel Ltd may suspend the generation concerned while it looks, and may remove it where the report is well-founded. You will be told, and may answer.
Fair use of the service
Use your own account, keep your sign-in links to yourself, and do not attempt to reach another organisation's work, to overload the service or to reverse its safeguards. ArcGabriel Ltd may suspend an account or organisation that does, and may pause generation for everyone when its own monthly budget is reached, saying so plainly.
Availability and liability
ArcGabriel Ltd aims to keep the service available but does not promise it, and may change or withdraw it; your work can be downloaded at any time and erased by you at any time.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited. If you use the service as a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights. Subject to that, ArcGabriel Ltd is not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from the service or its outputs, and its total liability to you or your organisation in any twelve months is limited to the greater of £100 and the amount you paid for the service in those twelve months.
Privacy
How personal data is handled is set out at /privacy.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without taking from a consumer any right to bring a claim where they live.
